What each currency does

Supplies (yellow)

Common currency used for most unlocks: weapon upgrades and many perks.
Earned from missions and Horde Mode; used for buying defenses in Horde.

Challenge Coins (blue)

Rarer currency for unique weapons/cosmetics and certain unlocks.
Primarily from Daily/Weekly Challenges and higher-difficulty clears.

Beginner-friendly earnings

Supplies: Standard campaign missions on Normal, or early Horde waves, reliably award yellow coins while you learn.
Challenge Coins: Complete Daily/Weekly Challenges on Normal/Hard with friends; pick up Virus Samples for bonus blue coins on mission completion.

Class XP vs Weapon Progress

Class XP: Unlocks perks along a class tree and prestige tiers.
Weapon levels: Unlock stronger variants and perk slots; some upgrades require you to purchase the next level before XP applies.
