📊 Understanding Breach Charges

What are Breach Charges?

Breach charges are special equipment items used exclusively to open breach doors.

  • Primary Purpose: Opening special reinforced doors marked with yellow paint/indicators
  • Cannot be used as weapons - they only work on designated breach doors
  • Single Use: Each charge opens one breach door
  • Team Shared: Any player can pick up and use breach charges
  • Auto-Pickup: Walk over them to automatically collect (if not carrying one)
  • One at a Time: Can only carry one breach charge per player
Door Types: Required - Must be opened to progress Optional - Contains loot/shortcuts Shortcut - Alternative path

🎯 How to Use Breach Charges

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Find a Breach Charge: Look for red explosive charges on the ground or equipment racks
  2. Pick it Up: Walk over it to automatically collect (shows in equipment slot)
  3. Locate Breach Door: Look for reinforced doors with yellow markings
  4. Approach Door: Get close to the breach door
  5. Plant Charge: Hold the interact button (X/Square) when prompted
  6. Stand Back: Move away from the door after planting

  • Story Progression: Some breach doors are mandatory for mission completion
  • Loot Rooms: Optional breach doors often contain valuable supplies
  • Team Coordination: Communicate who's carrying charges to avoid confusion
  • Respawn Logic: Breach charges don't respawn - once used, they're gone
