⚡ Kill Priority Order
CRITICAL: Special zombie priority can make or break your run. Always eliminate in this order:
- 😱 Screamer - Prevents swarm cascade (ALWAYS FIRST)
- 🤢 Gasbag - Area denial threat to entire team
- 🐂 Bull - Can wipe unprepared teams
- 🧟 Infector - Turns teammates into liabilities
- 👻 Lurker - Disrupts team formation
- 🎯 Bomber - Situational threat, avoid body shots
Priority #3
🐂
Bull
Armored Charger
HIGH THREAT
🎯 Identification
- Massive size with riot gear armor
- Helmet with visor (can be broken)
- Loud metallic footsteps when approaching
- Distinctive roar before charging
🔊 Audio Cue: Deep growl followed by loud roar, heavy metallic stomping. You'll hear a Bull before you see it.
⚙️ Mechanics & Behavior
- Charge Attack: Runs in straight line, grabs and slams first target
- Wind-up Time: 2-3 seconds before charge begins
- Charge Distance: Approximately 30 meters
- Armor: Front armor reduces damage by 50%
- Visor: Can be broken to expose head for critical damage
- Post-Charge: Brief recovery period after charge
💚 Weaknesses
- Back is unarmored - Full damage from behind
- Visor breaks - Concentrated fire exposes head
- Can't turn while charging - Sidestep to avoid
- Explosives bypass armor - C4, grenades, RPGs work
- Stunnable during wind-up - Stun gun, flashbang stop charge
🎮 Universal Counter Strategies
- Listen for audio cues - React before visual contact
- Focus fire the visor - Team should concentrate shots
- Sidestep at last second - Roll perpendicular to charge
- Use environment - Bulls hit walls and get stunned
- Save heavy weapons - RPG = instant kill
- Explosive placement - Pre-place C4 or claymores in paths
💡 Pro Tip: Bulls always charge the closest target. Use this to bait charges into walls or away from vulnerable teammates. A Bull hitting a wall is stunned for 3 seconds!
🔗 Class-Specific Counters
Hellraiser: C4 in path
Slasher: Stun gun stops charge
Vanguard: Shield blocks entirely
Gunslinger: Headshot chains
Exterminator: Claymore traps

🔊 Audio Cue: Distinctive high-pitched whine/moan. If you hear this, DROP EVERYTHING and find it!
⚙️ Mechanics & Behavior
- Scream Attack: 3-second wind-up, then calls swarm
- Swarm Size: 20-50 zombies depending on difficulty
- Alert Range: Will scream if damaged or player gets too close
- One Scream: Can only scream once per life
- Spawn Behavior: Often spawns behind teams
💚 Weaknesses
- Fragile - Dies to 1-2 headshots
- Slow movement - Easy to track
- Interruptible - Damage during wind-up stops scream
- No melee attack - Harmless up close
- Predictable spawns - Learn the locations
🎮 Universal Counter Strategies
- IMMEDIATE PRIORITY - Kill before anything else
- Use silenced weapons - Prevents alert from gunfire
- Headshot for instant kill - Don't risk body shots
- Call out location - "Screamer back left!"
- If scream starts - Find defensive position immediately
⚠️ WARNING: A single Screamer can cascade into a team wipe. NEVER ignore the audio cue. It's better to waste ammo on a false alarm than miss a real Screamer.
💡 Pro Tip: Screamers spawn at specific points on each map. Learn these locations and pre-check them. On higher difficulties, always have one player watching the team's back.
🔗 Class-Specific Counters
All Classes: Silenced weapons

💚 Weaknesses
- Slow movement - Easy to maintain distance
- Headshots safe - No explosion on headshot kill
- Range limited - Can't attack beyond explosion radius
- Predictable pathing - Walks straight at target
- Visible threat - Green gas makes it obvious
⚠️ CRITICAL: NEVER use fire, explosives, or melee attacks on Gasbags! This causes instant detonation and team damage.
🎮 Universal Counter Strategies
- Maximum range engagement - Never let it get close
- Headshots only - Aim carefully, no spray
- Clear the area first - Kill nearby zombies before engaging
- Watch for multiples - Gasbags often spawn in pairs
- Have escape route - Always know where to run
💡 Pro Tip: You can use Gasbag explosions tactically! Shoot the body when surrounded by regular zombies (but far from team) to clear crowds.
🔗 Class-Specific Counters

- Check your six - Regularly turn around
- Listen for growls - Audio is your best warning
- Stay together - Lurkers avoid groups
- Quick melee - If you hear growl, melee immediately
- Save pinned teammates - One shot or melee frees them
💡 Pro Tip: Lurkers have set spawn points. The player in back should constantly check common Lurker spots: doorways you just passed, dark corners, and elevated positions.
🔗 Class-Specific Counters
Slasher: Can't be pinned easily
Fixer: Masking reveals them
Dronemaster: Drone auto-saves
Exterminator: Fire reveals position
Vanguard: Can't pounce shield
Priority #4
🧟
Infector

- Close distance fast - They can't spit point-blank
- Focus fire - Kill before multiple spits
- Use cover - Spit can't go through objects
⚠️ WARNING: An infected player who turns WILL down the entire team on higher difficulties. Always carry medkits and prioritize healing infections.
💡 Pro Tip: Infectors often spawn in pairs or groups. After killing one, immediately scan for others. On Extreme, assume every military zombie is an Infector until proven otherwise.
🔗 Class-Specific Counters
Medic: Instant infection cure
Slasher: Rush and melee
Gunslinger: Outrange them
Vanguard: Shield blocks spit
Dronemaster: Drone priority target
Priority #6
🎯
Bomber

- C4 bombs strapped to chest
- Red blinking lights on explosives
- Beeping sound when active
- Walks with arms spread wide
- Often mixed in regular hordes
🔊 Audio Cue: Electronic beeping that speeds up when close. Similar to a bomb timer. Very distinctive once learned.
⚙️ Mechanics & Behavior
- Explosion Trigger: Death OR proximity to players
- Blast Radius: 5 meter instant kill zone
- Body Shot = Explosion: Only headshots are safe
- Chain Reactions: Can detonate other Bombers
- Mixed Spawns: Hide in regular zombie crowds
💚 Weaknesses
- Extremely fragile - One headshot kill
- Audio warning - Beeping gives position away
- Leg shots safe - Stumbles without exploding

- Use them tactically - Explode near zombie groups
- Leg shots to control - Slows without detonation
- Maintain distance - Never let them get close
⚠️ CRITICAL: In panic situations, aim LOW (legs) not center mass! A stumbling Bomber is better than an exploding one.
💡 Pro Tip: Bombers are actually useful! Let them walk into zombie crowds, then body shot for a free explosive clear. Just make sure your team is far away!
🔗 Class-Specific Counters
Gunslinger: Easy headshots
Hellraiser: Use for chain explosions
Fixer: Mark for team
NO MELEE CLASSES

⚙️ Mechanics
- Appear in specific Aftermath campaign missions
- Swarm along set paths
- Deal damage over time if you stand in them
- Can be burned with fire or explosives
- Respawn after a short time
Counter: Simply walk around them or use fire/explosives to clear a path temporarily. Not a major threat unless you're pinned in them.
💡 Universal Special Zombie Tips
Audio is Everything
Every special has unique audio cues. Play with good headphones and learn these sounds - you'll often hear specials before seeing them, giving crucial reaction time.
Spawn Patterns
- Specials spawn at set locations on each map - learn them
- Difficulty affects spawn frequency, not locations
- Specials often spawn in response to noise or progress triggers
- Multiple specials can spawn simultaneously on higher difficulties
Communication
Always call out specials with direction: "Bull behind us!" or "Screamer on the left!" Quick, clear communication saves lives.
Difficulty Scaling
- Easy/Normal: Specials spawn alone, lower health
- Hard: Pairs of specials, standard health
- Insane: Groups of specials, increased health
- Extreme: Multiple special types together, maximum health
